Biography

2014: Played and started in all 49 games for Minot State as a senior... Batted .387 on the season, leading the team... Also led the team in runs (36), RBIs (42), home runs (12) and total bases (106)... Appeared in 19 games as a pitcher for the Beavers... Recorded a record of 6-6 and an ERA of 4.22... Named First-Team All-NSIC... Won a Gold Glove playing left field... Named First Team All-Central Region by Daktronics... Leaves Minot State as Beavers all-time leader in home runs with 39 and runs batted in with 165, while batting .372 for her career.


2013: Appeared in 51 games for Minot State during her junior campaign... Led the Beavers in batting average (.447), hits (67), runs (50), doubles (17), triples (6), slugging percentage (.880) and total bases (132)... Appeared in 13 as a pitcher, going 2-0 on the year... struck out 25 batters in 38.1 innings... Led the NSIC in slugging percentage and was second in batting average... Named First Team All-NSIC and NSIC Player of the Year for 2013... Earned Capital One First Team Academic All-American... Named NSIC Tournament All-Tournament Team... Named First Team All-Central Region and Central Region Player of the Year by Daktronics... Named Daktronics First Team All-American.

2012: Played and started in 44 games for the Beavers as a sophomore... Led the team in hits with 57 on her way to a .410 season batting average... Collected a team high 41 runs batted in... Drilled eight home runs throughout the season including two vs. Dakota College-Bottineau (4/17)... Stole 11 bases in 14 attempts... Pitched 47.2 innings for the Beavers, collecting four wins on the season.

2011: Had an outstanding freshman season with the Beavers, hitting .273, blasting seven home runs, and driving in 32... In addition to her stellar year at the dish, she was equally as good in the pitching circle postinga sub two ERA, winning nine of the fourteen games she started... Recorded her first win against Purdue North Central (3/10), not allowing any earned runs... She ranked 35th in the counrty in earned runs allowed, surrendering just 25.

High School: Played volleyball, softball and basketball for Vincent Massey... Named Female Athlete of the Year in 2009-10... Won back-to-back Canadian National Championship in U17 and U18 club volleyball... Played on Junior Team Canada in 2010.

Personal: Daughter of Barb and Dave Dixon... Majoring in Physical Education... Named 2014 NSIC Myles Brand-Academic with Distinction award winner... Also plays for the Minot State University volleyball team.
