Assistant Coach Amaura Brandt

Amaura Brandt

Amaura Brandt entered her first season as an assistant coach with the Minot State women’s basketball team in the fall of 2021.

Prior to Minot State, Brandt spent two seasons at Western Carolina University as the Director of Basketball Operations for the Catamount women's basketball program. Brandt oversaw all travel arrangements and handled many of the organizational duties for the team, such as gear and scheduling.
 
She earned a Master of Liberal Studies degree at NCAA Division I Southern Methodist University where she played her senior basketball season.

Prior to pursuing her master’s degree, Brandt finished her Bachelor of Science degree playing a season at NCAA Division II Limestone College (30-1), which won the regular season Southern Athletic Conference and SAC Tournament titles while leading Division II with the highest 3-point percentage (50.6%). Brandt earned second-team all-conference honors.

Brandt began her college career at the NCAA Division II University of South Carolina-Aiken where she played two seasons under her father, head coach Mike Brandt.
