Sacarra Molina is in her second season as a student assistant women's basketball coach after making the transition from player to coach following a stellar four-year career with the Beavers.
Molina helped lead the Beavers to a fifth place finish in the 2013-2014 season in the competitive Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference.
Molina capped her career with a solid senior campaign, finishing as the Beavers No. 2 scorer averaging 12.6 points per game. She went over a 1,000 career points during her senior year. A three-year starter, Molina played in 113 games for Minot State from 2009-2013 and made 82 starts. She scored 1,011 career points, earning All-Dakota Athletic Conference second team honors as a junior.
She is originally from Hinsdale, Mont., where she was a three-sport standout. Molina is currently working toward her degree in both Criminal Justice and Psychology at Minot State.
