Taylor Henningsgard

Taylor Henningsgard’s is in her first debut as an assistant coach for the women’s basketball program at Minot State University.
 
Prior to Minot State, Henningsgard was a graduate assistant and junior varsity head coach for the women’s basketball team at Briar Cliff University in Sioux City, Iowa. She helped coach the Chargers to a 15-16 season, which was much improved from the previous 10-21 record. Henningsgard was also the AAU 15U head coach for Iowa Select during her time in Sioux City.
 
Henningsgard began her coaching career at Lake Region State College as an assistant coach in 2017-18. She was also the AAU 16U head coach for North Dakota Attack in 2018.
 
As a player, Henningsgard had success competing at Lake Region State College and Dickinson State University. She appeared in 3 national tournaments and finished with a career record of 89-34.

While playing for Mark Graupe at Dickinson State University in 2016 and 2017, Henningsgard helped lead the Blue Hawks to a 46-17 total record and back-to-back appearances in the NAIA National Tournament. She was First-Team All-Conference in 2017.
 
In 2015 at Lake Region, Henningsgard helped lead the team to an appearance in the NJCAA DI National Tournament. She was named to both First Team All-Conference and First Team All-Region teams and was the Region-XIII Tournament MVP.
 
In high school, Henningsgard excelled in North Dakota as she was the Class B District, Region, and State Senior Athlete of the Year in 2013. She was a North Dakota Miss Basketball Finalist in 2013 and was twice named First-Team All-State.
