Coach Lehocky became the 10th Minot State head volleyball coach in the winter of the 2021-22 academic year.
In her first season leading the Minot State program the Beavers saw 7 players (Paige Ammerman, Tea Boeckel, Kendal Braun, Alexandra Koontz, Kylie Koontz, Emily Kotelnikoff, and Hailey Wathen) named to the NSIC All-Academic team as they went 1-26 on the season and 1-19 in NSIC play.
Lehocky joined the Beaver staff after three years as the head coach at New Mexico Junior College where she started the program and compiled a 38-29 overall record and led the Thunderbirds to the Region V West Tournament title match in the fall of 2021.
Along with building a program from scratch, Lehocky also has experience coaching at nationals as she helped guide the Northeastern Junior College (Colo.) volleyball team to the 2018 NJCAA National Tournament as an assistant coach for the Plainswoman. She spent four seasons in Colorado as an assistant coach with the Plainswoman where she coached two All-Americans, two Region IX Libero of the Year award winners, two Region IX Freshmen of the Year, and one Region IX Setter of the Year.
At New Mexico Junior College, Lehocky coached six Region V All-Conference players, and in her seven years of college coaching experience, she has also coached 24 NJCAA individual Academic Award winners.
A native of New Mexico, Lehocky was an Academic All-American player at Otero Junior College in La Junta, Colo., who after earning her Associates degree, with honors, continued her college career at NCAA Division III Keene State in Keene, New Hampshire, playing one season as a middle blocker with the Owls.
Returning to Colorado, she earned her Bachelors in Kinesiology from Colorado Mesa in December of 2013, then received her Master's in Kinesiology in 2017 from A.T. Still University (Ariz.) while also beginning her collegiate coaching career at Northeastern JC. Along with her degree in Kinesiology, Lehocky also is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).
