Former Division-I standout Charlie Condron is in his second season as an assistant coach on the Minot State volleyball staff in 2019.
Minot State saw success quickly with Condron on staff as the Beavers recorded their most successful season in the D-II era in 2018. Minot State won their most overall matches in the D-II era with 13 wins while posting their third-most NSIC win total in D-II era with six conference victories.
Condron, who was a four-year letter-winner at Cal State Northridge, is involved in all phases of the Beaver program from on-court coaching to recruiting.
Condron, originally from Huntington Beach, Calif., was a two-year starter for the Matadors and was also a two-time captain. He led the team in digs in his sophomore season and started all 26 matches for CSUN as a junior. The Matadors were ranked nationally in each of his last three seasons and made an NCAA Tournament semifinal appearance in his freshman year.
Condron played for Jeff Campbell at Cal State Northridge who was a United States National Team member as well as a US National Team assistant coach.
Condron starred at Huntington Beach High School where he earned All-American honors and was also the league's most valuable player.
Following his playing career at CSUN, Condron was an assistant coach for the Bones Volleyball Club, coached the Club H team and coached both the boy's and girl's teams at Huntington Beach High School.
