Coach Famiglietti joined the Beaver volleyball staff as a volunteer assistant coach in the summer of 2024.
Famiglietti works for Minot State as an admissions counselor and is married to Minot State assistant football coach Mike Famiglietti. The couple is expecting their first child in January of 2025.
My college team actually one the NJCAA national tournament in 2013 and we placed 3rd in 2014. I was also the assistant women's coach at KWU 2019-2022 and the interim head men's coach in 2021 (I was the only woman in KWU' history to win a game coaching a male sport). While at KWU I was named KWU's assistant coach of the year in 2022 (for the 2021 season). In the 2022 season we won the conference tournament and went to the first round of nationals.Â
She attended Cowley College in Kansas where she won the 2013 NJCAA Division II National Championship and she was part of the Cowley team that finished third at the NJCAA Division II National Championship in 2014.Â
She graduated from Wichita State and began her coaching career as an assistant at Kansas Wesleyan (2019-2022) and served as interim men's head volleyball coach for the 2021 and is the only woman in KWY history to win a game coaching a male sports team. While at Kansas Wesleyan, Famiglietti was named Assistant Coach of the Year in 2022 (for the fall 2021 volleyball season). In 2022, Kansas Wesleyan won the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) Tournament title and advanced to the NAIA National Tournament.
