Cinthya Samaniego has been selected as the Minot State Athlete of the Week after helping lead the Beavers to the NSIC Tournament Championship match. She scored the game-winning goal against St. Cloud State in the opening-round match against St. Cloud State and had a goal and an assist in the semifinal win over Mary. Samaniego was named to the NSIC All-Tournament team for her efforts.
