In 18 games for the Beavers on the softball diamond in April, Van Wickler led the way offensively with a .420 batting average, batting 21-of-50 with five doubles, 3 home runs, 13 RBIs, and 10 runs scored. She also collected 1 triple during the month, giving her 9 this spring. That ties the single-season record and gives her 19 in her career, No. 2 all-time.
Along with swinging a hot bat, Van Wickler drew 12 walks, was hit by a pitch twice, and was a perfect 6-of-6 in stolen base attempts for the Beavers. Defensively, she added 19 putouts and 3 assists from the outfield.
Away from the diamond, Van Wickler was also named Minot State’s female NSIC Honor Student-Athlete for 2025-26 on April 30.
