(MINOT, N.D.) – Isis Cabral has been named Minot State Athlete of the Week for her powerful performance for Beaver softball over the weekend.
Minot State squared off against NAIA foes Dickinson State, Mayville State, Providence (Mont.), and Valley City State. In those four games Cabral hit for a .600 average with nine hits in 15 at bats. She scored a combined eight runs while hitting four doubles, two home runs, and driving in 10 Beavers across the plate. Isis also stole one base and did not commit an error in the field.
Isis’ marquee game came against Mayville State when she slugged both of her homers, smacked two doubles, scored three runs, and drove in five more.
Cabral’s effort helped the Beavers to a 4-0 record in their final Air-Supported Dome Invite of the season.
This is the second time she has been named MSU Athlete of the Week.
