David Akibo has been selected as the Minot State Athlete of the Week following his performance at the Southwest Baptist Classic...Akibo scored 24 points against Southwest Baptist and then had 23 points in the Beavers win over Lincoln (Mo.)...He averaged 23.5 points and 7.0 rebounds per game in the two contests
