Freshman Ali Mohamed became the new leader for rushing yards in a single season for Minot State during the Division II era. Coming into the game he only needed seven yards to break the record. Mohamed rushed for 21 yards on his first attempt and broke the record. He ended the game with 105 rushing yards and a total of 871 rushing yards to end the season.
