(MINOT, N.D.) – Jordan Will of the Beaver wrestling team has been named Minot State Athlete of the Week for his dual-sealing win in the team’s last dual.

Will and the Beaver wrestlers competed in their first match of 2020 last Thursday at 18^th-ranked Montana State-Northern (NAIA). The Lights built an early lead over Minot State before the Beavers battled back and eventually won.

Jordan capped the night in the heavyweight match against 10^th-ranked Jase Stokes of MSU-Northern. Will wrestled his way to a win by fall and earned six points for the Beavers. Those six points put Minot State in front and sealed the team victory.

This is the first time Jordan Will has been named Athlete of the Week.
