MSU to play in Desert Stinger Classic

Beavers play five games in three days

BILLINGS, Mont. – The Minot State University softball team is scheduled to travel to Las Vegas, Nev., Feb. 11-13, 2011, to take part in the Montana State-Billings Desert Stinger Classic.
The tournament, hosted by MSU-Billings, features multiple NCAA Division II teams – many from the western half of the United States – playing on six diamonds over the three days.
The Beavers are scheduled to begin the tournament with Chadron State (Neb.) at noon on Friday, Feb. 11.
MSU will play twice each of the final two days, taking on Regis University (Colo.) at 5 p.m. and New Mexico Highlands at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 12. The Beavers are scheduled to play Adams State College (Colo.) and Lewis University (Ill.) at noon and 2:30 p.m. respectively on Sunday, Feb. 13.
