BOX SCORE v FORT HAYS
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Minot State University lost its first match and won the second one for the second day in a row as MSU went 2-2 on the road to start the season at the University of Sioux Falls Active Ankle Volleyball Tournament Saturday.
The Beavers fell in three against Fort Hays State (25-17, 25-17, 25-18) in the opener, but rebounded to finish off Waldorf College (25-17, 18-25, 25-22, 25-13) in the second match.
Against Fort Hays, the Beavers never fully got going. MSU didn't have a tone of errors, but didn't hit the ball overly efficient either. The Tigers were solid in the first to games to run out to a lead and finished off MSU in game 3.

Chelsey Bryant (So., OH, Brandon, Manitoba) collected seven digs.
Sara Hewson was the only Tiger player in double figures in kills with 10. Kayla Zoglman added 26 assists.
In the second match, MSU had a much better contest, especially hitting in the final game 4. MSU hammered out a solid .409 percentage in the game.
