Box Score MiNOT, N.D.- The Minot State University volleyball team defeated Valley City State University in straight sets in a non-conference match Tuesday night.

The Beavers traveled to Valley City, N.D. and beat down the Vikings 25-14, 25-19, 25-16. There were no other statistics provided for the match.

"We made a good step forward in our season tonight," said head coach Travis Ward. "We played a few different lineups tonight and I think that benefited the team. Emily did a great job at the service line tonight, she was very accurate. She also did a great job moving the ball to our hitters who capitalized on opportunities."

Minot State will be in action this weekend as they travel to Spearfish, S.D. to play in the Black Hills State University Tournament.
