Box Score The Minot State Univeristy volleyball team was swept in three sets (12-25, 14-25, 12-25) by No. 3 Concordia, St. Paul.
The Beavers struggled defensively allowing the Golden Bears to hit an attack percentage of .532.
"Going up against the third ranked team in the nation is no small task," said head coach
Ben Kaszeta.Â
Mallory Sall (OH, Sr., Port Coquitlam, British Columbia) led the team with eight kills, but right behind her was freshman
Brileigh Boyce (OH, Houston, Texas) with seven.
"Brileigh got to play today to see how they handled the change to a lefty in the lineup," Kaszeta said. "She really stepped up to the plate for us. She came in and played aggressive and ended up hitting [an attack percentage of] .600. That's what we needed."
Boyce played in two sets which is the most action she has seen since playing Northern Michigan on September 12 when she played in three sets and recorded eight kills with an attack percentage of .500.
Â
Freshmen Kelsey Dewulf (S, Huntley, Ill.) and Logan Desorcy (L, St. Andrews, Manitoba) led the team with 23 assists and five digs, respectively.
