MINOT, N.D. – The Minot State volleyball team travels to Duluth, Minn. to take on No. 5 Minnesota Duluth on Friday, Oct. 20 at 6 p.m. before traveling to Bemidji, Minn. to face Bemidji State on Saturday, Oct. 21 at 2 p.m.

Junior
Kelsey Dewulf paces the Beavers with 9.09 assists per set.
Hayley Swain leads Minot State with 0.87 blocks per set, followed by Falldorf with 0.78 blocks per set.
Freshman
Karli Koza ranks fourth in the NSIC with 5.17 digs per set. Koza was tabbed as the NSIC Defense Player of the Week on Oct. 9 for her 56-dig weekend vs. No. 17 Wayne State and No. 21 Augustana.
Scouting the Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs
Minnesota Duluth comes into the weekend with a No. 5 ranking in the AVCA Division II Coaches Top 25 Poll and a record of 17-2 (10-1 NSIC) this season. The Bulldog offense is led by a trio of attackers. Sarah Kelly leads the team with 3.71 kills per set while Makenzie Morgen and Kate Berg follow with 3.43 and 3.42 kills per set, respectively. Emily Torve ranks second in the NSIC with 12.69 assists per set while Allison Olley ranks seventh with 1.03 blocks per set.
Head coach Jim Boos is in his 16
th season leading the Bulldog program and holds a career record of 429-77.
Minnesota Duluth leads the all-time series with Minot State, 7-0. In their last meeting, the Bulldogs swept the Beavers on October 8, 2016.
Scouting the St. Cloud State Huskies
St. Cloud State enters the weekend with a 12-9 (4-7 NSIC) record this season. The Huskies will host UMary on Friday night before hosting the Beavers on Saturday afternoon. Becca Gruber paces St. Cloud State with 2.66 kills per set, followed by Nicole Miller with 2.43 kills per set. Clara Krenz leads the NSIC with 5.86 digs per set while Marah Mulso leads the SCSU defense with 0.83 blocks per set.
Head coach Chad Braegelmann is in his third season at the helm of St. Cloud State. Braegelmann has posted a 29-49 record at St. Cloud State and a career record of 314-220 in 17 years of coaching.
The Huskies lead the all-time series with the Beavers, 8-1. St. Cloud State defeated Minot State 3-1 in Minot, N.D. on October 7, 2016 in their last meeting.
