MINOT, N.D. – The Minot State volleyball team fell in four sets (15-25, 17-25, 25-21, 9-25) on Friday night vs. Minnesota State in the Minot State Dome.
The Beavers drop to 5-23 (1-18 NSIC) on the season while the Mavericks improve to 14-13 (8-11 NSIC).
Shelby Spuller led the Beavers with 11 kills, followed by Hayley Swain, Emily Falldorf and Jeanne Brenner with six kills apiece.
Kelsey Dewulf dished out 27 assists while Karli Koza handed out three assists.
Falldorf posted a team-high four blocks while Brenner added three blocks.
Koza led Minot State with 26 digs, followed by Shae Pedersen with eight digs.
Minnesota State held an 8-5 advantage in blocks and .357-.132 lead in hitting.
