MINOT, N.D. – Minot State University softball has added a pair of nonconference games to its schedule, head coach
Bill Triplett announced Tuesday.
The Beavers will travel to Presentation College to play former NAIA foe Mayville State in a neutral-site double header Wednesday. Game times are set for noon and 2 p.m.
Mayville State, which plays in the North Star Athletic Association, is 1-7 following a split of two games against Dakota State Feb. 25.
Minot State is 4-5 overall after winning three of four at its own tournament in Aberdeen in February. The Beavers are on a two-game winning streak after defeating Black Hills State 7-1 and Minnesota State University Moorhead 6-2 in the final day of the MSU Dome Invite.
MSU has also rescheduled two nonconference games with Montana State Billings for March 26 at Herb Parker Stadium. That double header was originally scheduled for late February.
