MANKATO, Minn. – The Minot State women's volleyball team continued Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference play on Saturday afternoon at Minnesota State, falling 3-0 (14-25, 11-25, 19-25).
The Beavers are now 3-10 (0-5 NSIC) on the season while the Mavericks improve to 8-5 (2-3 NSIC).
Shelby Spuller led the Beaver offense 11 kills while posting six digs on the defensive side.
Brileigh Boyce and
Jeanne Brenner followed with four kills apiece.
Kelsey Dewulf paced the Minot State offense, dishing out 18 assists along with notching five digs.
Hayley Swain recorded a team-high four blocks to go with her two kills.
On the defensive side,
Mekayla Gurley led the Beavers with a team-high eight digs, followed by
Karli Koza with seven digs.
Minot State returns to action next weekend when they play host to Upper Iowa on Friday, Sept. 29 at 5:30 p.m. in the Minot State Dome. Tickets and links to live stats and video are available on msubeavers.com.
