Box Score MINOT, N.D. – The Minot State volleyball team fell in three sets (18-25, 21-25, 17-25) at home against Upper Iowa on Friday night.
The Beavers fall to 3-11 (0-6 NSIC) on the season while Upper Iowa improves to 12-3 (3-3 NSIC).
Shelby Spuller led the balanced attack with nine kills in the match, followed by eight kills from
Brileigh Boyce and seven kills from
Hayley Swain and
Jeanne Brenner.
Kelsey Dewulf paced the Beaver offense, dishing out 29 assists in the match.
Karli Koza posted a team-high 25 digs while
Mekayla Gurley and
Kelsey Dewulf notched double-digit digs with 13 and 12 digs, respectively.
Emily Falldorf led team with three blocks in the match.
Kelsey Dewulf and
Nicole Wondrasek also recorded two blocks.
Minot State returns to action tomorrow when they play host to No. 13 Winona State tomorrow afternoon at 3 p.m.
