Shelby Spuller recorded a team-high nine kills and sophomore
Karli Koza notched 17 digs, but Minot State dropped a 25-14, 25-6, 25-13 decision to Southwest Minnesota State in a Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference match on Friday in the Minot State Dome.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Shelby Spuller recorded three kills and Hayley Swain had two kills, but the Mustangs hit .351 on their way to a 25-14 win in the first set
- Southwest Minnesota State had 14 kills and hit .520 in the second set as they topped the Beavers 25-6
- Shelby Spuller had five kills and Karli Koza recorded eight digs, but the Mustangs closed out the match with a 25-13 victory
