ST. PAUL, Minn. -- Junior Jeanne Brenner recorded her third double-figure kill match of the season with 10 kills, but Minot State lost to No. 3 Concordia-St. Paul 25-17, 25-16, 25-10 on Saturday in a Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference match in the Gangelhoff Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Concordia-St. Paul hit .583 in the first set and posted a 25-17 win despite four kills from Shelby Spuller
• The Golden Bears hit .531 in the second set to notch a 25-16 victory. Jeanne Brenner and Shelby Spuller each had three kills for Minot State
• Concordia-St. Paul hit .708 in the final set on its way to a 25-10 win

• Jeanne Brenner led Minot State with 10 kills, which marked her third double-figure kill match of the season
• Shelby Spuller had eight kills and saw her string of double-figure kill matches come to an end at 12 straight
• Nicole Wondrasek added four kills and a dig
• Karli Koza finished with a team-high seven digs
• Kelsey Dewulf finished with 24 assists, six digs, three service aces and a block
• Mekayla Gurley had four digs and two service aces

TEAM NOTES

• Minot State is 9-11 overall and 3-8 in conference play on the season
