Five Beavers Reach Double Figures in Win Over Yellowstone Christian

MINOT, N.D. -- Dorian Aluyi and Kyle Beisch led a balanced Minot State attack with 13 points each as the Beavers had five players in double figures in scoring in an 85-58 win over Yellowstone Christian in the home opener on Tuesday in the Minot State Dome.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Minot State, which never trailed in the game, jumped out to a 30-13 lead with 7:44 to play in the opening half
  • The Beavers shot 55.2 percent from the floor in the first half on its way to a 44-24 lead at the intermission
  • Dorian Aluyi and Max Cody each had 10 points in the first half to lead Minot State
  • The Beavers shot 58.6 percent from the floor in the second half and outscored the Centurions 41-34
  • Liam McRae led the Beavers with 10 second-half points, while Kyle Beisch scored nine points in the second half
