Beavers Notch Third Consecutive Victory

MINOT, N.D. -- Kyle Beisch scored 21 points and Max Cody added 13 points as Minot State extended its winning streak to three straight games with a 69-46 non-conference victory over Dickinson State on Wednesday in the Minot State Dome.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Minot State, which led from start to finish for the second straight game, raced out to an 11-0 lead just 4:10 into the contest
  • The Beavers stretched the lead to 33-16 when Drake Jeffries knocked down a three-pointer with 3:46 to play in the first half
  • Kyle Beisch scored 10 points and Max Cody had seven points in the first half
  • Minot State shot 55.6 percent from the floor in the first half and took a 40-25 lead into the break
  • Kyle Beisch added 11 points in the second half and Max Cody scored six points after halftime
  • Minot State limited Dickinson State to 20.7 percent shooting from the floor in the second half
BEAVER TRACKS
  • Kyle Beisch was 9-of-15 from the floor and 2-of-4 from the three-point line to lead the Beavers with 21 points
  • Max Cody had 13 points on 5-of-8 shooting and also added seven assists
  • Kody Dwyer finished with eight points and five rebounds
  • David Akibo had eight points, seven rebounds and three blocked shots
  • Dorian Aluyi grabbed a team-high eight rebounds for Minot State
  • Nibra White was 3-of-6 from the floor and had six points
