ST. CLOUD, Minn. -- Jeanne Brenner and Shelby Spuller each recorded 15 kills, but Minot State dropped a 25-23, 25-20, 25-17 decision to St. Cloud State in a Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference match on Friday in Halenbeck Hall.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Shelby Spuller had six kills and hit .400 and Jeanne Brenner had six kills and hit .385, but the Huskies edged the Beavers 25-23
• Shelby Spuller had five kills and Kelsey Dewulf notched 11 assists, but St. Cloud State closed the second set with a 7-1 run to claim a 25-20 win
• Jeanne Brenner had five kills, but St. Cloud State hit .429 in a 25-17 win in the third set

• Shelby Spuller had 15 kills and recorded a .308 hitting percentage
• Jeanne Brenner recorded 15 kills and had a .333 attack percentage
• Hayley Swain notched 10 kills and had a .562 hitting percentage
