HONOLULU, Hawaii -- Kari Clements scored a season-high 21 points and Minot State shot 50.7 percent from the floor on its way to a 91-74 victory over Northwestern Oklahoma State on Thursday inside St. Francis Gymnasium.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Calli Delsman scored eight points and grabbed three rebounds, but the Beavers trailed Northwestern Oklahoma State 21-18 after the first quarter
• Minot State held the Rangers to nine points and 7.7 percent shooting from the floor in the second quarter
• Kari Clements scored six points and Mariah Payne had five points as the Beavers outscored the Rangers 23-9 in the second quarter
• Minot State shot 55.6 percent from the floor in the third quarter and Kari Clements scored 14 points as the Beavers pushed their lead to 68-55
• Haley Hildenbrand led the Beavers with seven points and Mariah Payne scored five points as Minot State closed out the game

• Kari Clements was 6-of-12 from the floor and 6-of-10 from the three-point line to finish with a season-high 21 points
• Kari Clements also had nine rebounds and four assists
• Mariah Payne made three three-point baskets and had 17 points and also added seven assists
• Calli Delsman had 15 points, eight assists and five rebounds
• Madison Wald had nine points and three rebounds
• Haley Hildenbrand finished with nine points, six rebounds, two assists and a steal
• Anna Counts notched nine points, five rebounds and a blocked shot
