MINOT, N.D. -- David Akibo reached double figures in scoring with 29 points to lead Minot State to a 77-61 victory over the Marauders in their last Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference contest of 2018. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Minot State jumped to an early lead heading into halftime with a 47-24 over the Marauders
• Mary outscored Minot State 37-30 in the second half but could not overtake the Beavers

• David Akibo led Minot State in scoring with 29 points
• Max Cody scored 13 points, nine assists and two rebounds
• Dorian Aluyi scored ten points
• David Akibo led the beavers with 14 rebounds
• Drake Jeffries added 21 points, shooting 5-of-6 from behind the 3-point line

• Minot State advanced to 6-9 overall and 1-5 in the NSIC
