MINOT, N.D. -- Madison Wald scored 19 points and grabbed eight rebounds, but Madelin Dammann hit a baseline jumper with 0.4 seconds to play in regulation lifting St. Cloud State to a 61-60 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference win over Minot State on Saturday in the Minot State Dome.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• St. Cloud State shot 50.0 percent from the floor to take an 18-13 lead after the opening quarter
• Minot State shot 56.3 percent from the floor and limited St. Cloud State to just 5.6 percent shooting and the Beavers outscored the Huskies 23-3 in the second quarter
• Madison Wald had eight points in the second quarter as the Beavers took a 36-21 lead into halftime
• St. Cloud State outscored Minot State 17-11 in the third quarter to trim the lead to 47-38
• Mariah Payne had eight points in the fourth quarter, but the Beavers were outscored 23-13 in the final quarter
• Madelin Dammann hit a short jumper with 0.4 seconds remaining in regulation lifting the Huskies to the win

• Mariah Payne had 17 points, nine boards and four assists
• Kari Clements finished with eight points, five rebounds and three assists
