MINOT, N.D. -- After spending the first two months of the season playing in the Air-Supported Dome, the Minot State softball team will host a home game outside this weekend when it welcomes Winona State and Upper Iowa to the South Hill Softball Complex for a pair of Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference doubleheaders.
The Beavers will face Winona State on Saturday (April 21) and Upper Iowa on Sunday (April 22). The Saturday doubleheader will begin at 1 p.m. and the Sunday doubleheader is slated to start at 11 a.m. Sunday also marks Senior Day for the Beavers as

Aubry Johnson will each be recognized prior to the start of the first game.
Minot State is currently 21-16 on the season and 8-8 in the NSIC and are seventh in the conference standings. Winona State is 31-5 overall and ranked 10th in the nation and are first in the NSIC standings with a 10-2 record, while Upper Iowa is 18-16 overall and 5-9 in league play and occupy the 10th spot in the NSIC.
Zimmermann and
Isis Cabral continue to lead the Beaver offense. Zimmermann tops the squad with a .488 batting average, 20 doubles, eight home runs and 37 RBIs, while Cabral is hitting .413 on the year and is tied for the team lead with seven triples and 34 runs scored.
Larson is also having an outstanding senior season as she is batting .388 and ranks second on the team with 12 doubles and is tied for second on the squad with 31 RBIs.
Julia Suchan continues her solid sophomore year as she is hitting .385 and is tied with Cabral for the team lead with 34 runs scored.
Hill and
Lauren Cowden are also hitting above .300 on the season as Hill is batting .316 and Cowden has a .307 batting average.
Kylie Patrick leads the Beavers in the circle with 11 wins and a 4.91 earned run average, while
Laura Mendez has 10 wins and a 5.82 ERA.
