Shelby Spuller had 12 kills and
Emily Falldorf added 10 kills, but Minnesota State Moorhead spoiled the Beavers season opener by rallying for a 25-22, 16-25, 19-25, 25-20, 15-9 victory at the Microtel and Travelodge Classic in Nemzek Fieldhouse.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Minnesota State Moorhead won the opening set 25-22
- Minot State bounced back to win the second and third sets. The Beavers won the second set 25-16 and recorded a 25-19 win in the third set
- Minnesota State Moorhead then won the fourth and fifth sets to claim the comeback victory
