MINOT, N.D. -- The Minot State volleyball team will step out of Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference play on Tuesday (Sept. 18) when it hosts Dickinson State at 6 p.m. in the Minot State Dome.
The Beavers enter the match with a 6-7 overall record, while Dickinson State currently sports a 2-9 overall record.
Minot State swept Mary last week before dropping home matches against Minnesota Duluth and St. Cloud State.
Shelby Spuller is the Beavers leading hitter as she is averaging 3.65 kills per set and has reached double figures in kills in six straight matches. She also tops the team with 13 service aces and is fourth on the team averaging 1.73 digs per set.
Hayley Swain continues to lead the Beavers with a .284 attack percentage and is fourth on the team averaging 1.81 kills per set. She also ranks second on the team averaging 0.56 blocks per set.
Emily Falldorf is the Beavers top blocker averaging 0.83 per set and ranks second on the team averaging 1.98 kills per set.
Karli Koza paces the Beavers averaging 4.75 digs per set, while
Mekayla Gurley is second on the team averaging 2.19 digs per set.
Kelsey Dewulf leads Minot State with three double-doubles on the season and tops the squad averaging 9.75 assists per set. She also averages 1.81 digs per set and 0.29 blocks per set.
Minot State has won five straight matches against Dickinson State including a 3-0 win last season.
