Minot State Sweeps Dickinson State 3-0

MINOT, N.D. -- Shelby Spuller had 14 kills and Emily Falldorf and Jeanne Brenner each had nine kills as Minot State defeated Dickinson State 27-25, 25-13, 25-16 in a non-conference match on Tuesday in the Minot State Dome.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Jeanne Brenner had seven kills and posted a .385 attack percentage as the Beavers edged the Blue Hawks 27-25 in the first set
  • Minot State cruised to a 25-13 win in the second set as Shelby Spuller had six kills and Kelsey Dewulf added 12 assists, two digs and a kill
  • The Beavers closed out the match with a 25-16 win in the third set as Emily Falldorf had four kills and two blocks and Minot State hit. 448
BEAVER TRACKS
  • Shelby Spuller led the Beavers with 14 kills and also added three blocks and two service aces and had a .444 attack percentage
  • Jeanne Brenner finished with nine kills and a .318 attack percentage
  • Emily Falldorf registered nine kills and had three blocks and three digs
  • Katie Dufner had five kills and a .400 attack percentage
  • Karli Koza led the Beavers with 21 digs and she also recorded four assists and a service ace

  • Minot State posted its sixth straight victory over Dickinson State
  • Minot State finished with a season-high .364 attack percentage
  • The Beavers finished with a 45-35 advantage in kills and a 47-40 advantage in digs
  • Minot State improved to 7-7 overall, while Dickinson State dropped to 2-10 on the season

Minot State returns to NSIC action this Friday and Saturday on the road. The Beavers face Minnesota Crookston on Friday (Sept. 21) at 6 p.m. and then meet Bemidji State at 3 p.m. on Saturday (Sept. 22)
