Duluth, M.N. – Late second half run was not enough for the Beavers this evening as Minot State lost the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference matchup tonight against the Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs 70-77.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Beavers trailed by four heading into halftime
• The Beavers out-shot the Bulldogs 50.9 percent to 47.2 percent from the field, 35.3 percent to 30 percent from beyond the arc and out-rebounded them 32-28
• A late second half run was not enough to catch the Bulldogs and the Beavers lost the second road game of the weekend 70-77

BEAVER TRACKS

•  David Akibo was the leading scorer for the Beavers with 19 points, nine rebounds and five assists
• Max Cody had a solid performance with 16 points and eight assists on the night
• Dorian Aluyi helped put the Beavers on the board with 11 points and four rebounds

TEAM NOTES

• Minot State shot 50.9 percent from the field and 35.3 percent from beyond the arc
• With the loss to Minnesota Duluth, Minot State falls to 7-12 overall and 2-8 in conference play
