MARSHALL, MINN. -- Madison Wald scored 20 points and six rebounds to lead Minot State to a 72-66 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference victory over Southwest Minnesota State in the R/A Facility.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Madison Wald led the Beavers in scoring with 20 points and grabbed six rebounds and four steals
• Haley Hildenbrand recorded a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds
• Minot State held Southwest Minnesota State to a 37.0 percent shooting in the first half and the Beavers led the Mustangs 31-28 at half
• Kari Clements scored 14 points in the second half
• Calli Delsman made two crucial free-throws in overtime to secure the Beavers win
• Mariah Payne added 15 points, five rebounds and four assists
• Beavers outscored the Mustangs 11-5 in overtime.
