(BISMARCK, N.D.) – The Minot State women's basketball team finished their regular season series with the Marauders of the University of Mary earlier this afternoon.
The Beavers fought through four quarters but could not keep up with the UMary offense as the Marauders outscored MSU 81-60.

Anna Counts led the way in scoring with 16 points.
Bethany Theodore was the only other Beaver player to finish in double-digits with 11.
Calli Delsman has an excellent day on the boards with 13 total rebounds including eleven total collections. Theodore led the Beavs in assists with eight. Forward
Mollie Wilson had a team-high three steals.
For the winning Marauders, three players scored in double-figures including Lauren Rotunda (19), Cassie Askvig (16), and Lexie Schneider (12). Schneider also led the way on the glass with 11 rebounds. Junior guard Macy Williams had a club-best seven assists followed by Rotunda and Coral Gillette with six.
The Beavers are now 3-7 on the season and 0-6 in the NSIC. UMary's record improved to 11-4 overall and 5-1 in league play.
Minot State will be back on the court after the turn of the new year when they travel to Mankato to take on Minnesota State on Friday, Jan. 3.
