MINOT, N.D. – Andres Hackman tossed a complete-game two-hitter in the first game and Minot State's offense poured on 14 on 16 hits in the second game to clinch the Saturday sweep over Sioux Falls on Saturday at Corbett Field.
The Beavers won first game 4-0 before picking up a 14-3 victory in seven innings to improve to 12-9 on the season and 6-3 in NSIC action.

How It Happened
- Minot State scored a pair in the second when Tyler Wiltshire smacked a two-RBI single to left, scoring Dillon Buckmeier and Wyatt Schlosser.
- The Cougars broke up the perfect game in the fifth inning with one out with a triple to center field.
- Trevaun Smith led off the fifth inning with a walk before scoring on an RBI triple by Michael Borst.
- The Beavers added their final run of the game when Jake Collins doubled home Borst in the bottom of the fifth.

- Wiltshire dropped an RBI single into right center and Ryley Humrighouse ripped a two-RBI double as the Beavers added three runs in the second inning.
- Humrighouse, Borst and Collins tallied RBI singles while Gifford, Schlosser and Wiltshire added RBI doubles as the Beavers erupted for eight runs on seven hits in the fourth inning to the blow the game wide open.
- The Cougars knocked in a run in the sixth and seventh innings each.
