ST. CLOUD, Minn. – The Minot State baseball team opened the day with a 9-3 setback vs. No. 1 Augustana before bouncing back to win 5-2 over No. 7 Northern State to remain alive in the 2019 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Baseball Tournament in St. Cloud, Minn. on Friday.

How It Happened
- The Vikings took an early lead with two runs on four hits in the first inning.
- Augustana added four runs on two hits and a Minot State error in the third inning to stretch the lead to 6-0.
- Wyatt Schlosser lift a two-run home run to right, cutting to the deficit to 6-2 in the fourth inning.
- The Vikings got the runs back in the bottom half of the inning on a two-run single.
- Augustana scored its final run in the sixth while Geordie McDougall smack a solo homer in the ninth inning.
