ST. CLOUD, Minn. – Minot State senior
Darrel Doll clubbed four home runs in a sweep over Winona State and No. 15 St. Cloud State in a pair of elimination games to set the Minot State single-season home run record and advance to the 2019 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Baseball Championship tomorrow vs. Augustana at 10 a.m. in St. Cloud, Minn.
Doll smacked three home runs in the win vs. Winona State to tie the single-game school record and added another in the win vs. SCSU while the Beavers surpassed last season's single-season record of 34 victories.
To capture the title and clinch the postseason berth, Minot State must beat the first-seeded Vikings twice tomorrow.

How It Happened
- Winona State jumped on the Beavers early with five runs on six hits in the opening inning.
- The Warriors added a run in the second before Darrel Doll smack a solo home run to center, making it 6-1 after two innings.
- WSU responded with a run on an RBI single in the third to stretch the lead to 7-1.
- Michael Borst singled home Trevaun Smith before Doll launched his second home run of the game, this one a two-run shot to cut the Warrior lead to 7-4.

- Doll clubbed his fourth homer of the day in the fifth on a two-run shot to opposite field, scoring Borst and giving the Beavers a 7-5 lead.
- Smith hit a solo home run in the seventh and SCSU responded with an RBI groundout in the bottom of the seventh.
