(MINOT, N.D.) -- The Minot State University Volleyball team is heading on the road this weekend for their first conference road trip of the season. The Beavers play Wayne State on Sept. 27 and Augustana University on Sept. 28.
Minot State began their conference play with a pair of losses last weekend against the University of Sioux Falls and Southwest Minnesota State University.

Vs. Wayne State University
- Wayne State is undefeated in the series vs. Minot 9-0.
- Their first meeting was on 8/28/2012 where WSU won 3-0.
Vs. Augustana University
- Augustana is undefeated in the series vs. Minot 11-0.
- Their first meeting was on 11/13/1978, where the Beavers lost 3-1.
Beaver Tracks
- Senior outside hitter Shelby Spuller leads the team with 85 kills on the season.
- Junior setter Mackenzie Froehlich is in the top 20 in the NSIC with 220 assists.
- Senior middle hitter Hayley Swain is in the top 15 for blocks in the conference with 28.
- Junior libero Karli Koza has 108 digs on the season which puts her in the top 20 in the NSIC.

- Wayne State has started the season with an overall record of 10-1 and 1-1 in conference play.
- Due to their strong play to start the season, they are ranked #17 in the nation.
- The Wildcats have six returning starters, including its libero from a team that went 22-9 last year.
- The Wildcats are led by 6-1 junior Jaci Brahmer who was named to the NSIC All-Second team.
Augustana University
- Augustana University has started the season well, with an 8-3 record.
- The Vikings have nine returning players from last season when they finished 10-18.
- Freshman libero Erika Bute is second in the conference with 218 digs.
