MINOT, ND --The Minot State volleyball team could not overcome an opposing Wildcats offense Saturday at home falling to Wayne State in straight sets (15-25, 13-25, 9-25).
The loss dropped Minot State's record to 0-13 overall and 0-7 in NSIC action.
Roxy King finished with five kills on the day to lead the Beavers attack while finishing with a hitting percentage of .25. Minot State got seven digs from Sophia Peterson to lead them defensively.

SET 1 | The Beavers fell behind early, dropping a tough first set 25-15. Minot State trailed by as many as 10 points as Wayne State grabbed the advantage for good at 7-6 in a set that was tied up five times before the Wildcats took control.
SET 2 | Minot State dropped set two 25-13, digging a 2-0 hole in the match. The Beavers dropped the first point and never clawed back into the lead before dropping the set.
SET 3 | Minot State could not win set three and was swept by Wayne State. The Beavers fell behind on the first point and fought from behind the rest of the way before falling in the set 25-9.
