MINOT, N.D. – The Minot State softball team will be back in action this weekend with the first home games of the 2021 season. The Beavers will host UMary, Northern State, and Bemidji State between Friday, Feb. 19, and Saturday, Feb. 21.
The Beavers will play two games against UMary this weekend with both happening on Friday. The first tilt between Minot State and the Marauders will start at 4 p.m. with the second game starting at roughly 7 p.m.
Minot State will face off against Northern State on Saturday at 10 a.m. and then finish the weekend at 1 p.m. on Sunday versus Bemidji State.
This weekend's series will be the only Air-Supported Dome Invitational event of the season.
COVID-19 Protocols inside the Air-Supported Dome
Fans are not permitted in the Air-Supported Dome. Family members of the student-athletes may attend the games and must wear masks while in attendance. Social distancing is required and seating is only allowed beyond the outfield fence.
All family members are permitted to bring their own chairs.

Series History
- UMary holds an all-time series lead over Minot State with 14 wins compared to 12.
- The Beavers have won two straight over UMary including an Air-Supported Dome Invitational win last season.
- Northern State leads their all-time series with MSU by an 11-6 advantage.
- Minot State has not beaten the Wolves since an extra-inning victory in 2019.
- Minot State has owned their Beaver counterparts from Bemidji State with an all-time lead of 16-4.
- MSU has won six of the last seven in the series with Bemidji's last victory coming in the 2018 season.
Beavers by the Numbers
- Minot State enters the weekend with a 3-1 record after a successful showing at the Presentation College Dome Classic.
- The Beaver bats have shown up early in the season with four players batting better than .300. Isis Cabral (.692), Jamie Odlum (.500), Kiera Shwaluk (.385), and Julia Suchan (.333) have led the way for MSU.
- Cabral went nine-for-13 a week ago with four doubles, a home run, and four runs batted in.
- Zoya Robbins, Trinity Valentine, and Gabi Dawyduk all saw action in the circle. All three pitchers picked up wins for the Beavers and Valentine suffered the only loss

- Bemidji State is 1-1 on the season with a win over Minnesota Crookston and a loss to Jamestown.
