SAINT PAUL, MN --The Minot State volleyball team could not out-play a dynamic Golden Bears offense Friday on the road falling to Concordia-Saint Paul in three sets (15-25, 12-25, 23-25).
The loss dropped Minot State's record to 0-6 overall and 0-1 in NSIC action.
Alexandra Koontz finished with seven kills on the day to lead the Beavers attack. MISU got 4 digs from Tea Boeckel to lead them defensively.

How It Happened
SET 1 | The Beavers found themselves in an early deficit, losing a tough first set 25-15. Minot State trailed by as many as 11 points as Concordia-Saint Paul never gave up the lead in a set that was notted up three times before the Golden Bears took control.
SET 2 | A 25-12 set-two loss put Minot State behind two sets to none in the match. The Beavers lost the first point and fought from behind the rest of the way before dropping the set.
SET 3 | Concordia-Saint Paul finished off the sweep with a third-set victory. The Beavers battled back from a seven-point hole at 23-16, but Concordia-Saint Paul held on to win the set 25-23.
