MOORHEAD, MINN. -- Minot State fell 36-14 to Minnesota State-Moorhead on the road Saturday afternoon.
The Dragons improved to 2-4 on the year and 2-4 in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference play, while the Beavers fell to 0-6 overall and 0-6 in conference matchups.
Ali Mohamed paced the MSUÂ rushing attack by accumulating 93 yards and two touchdowns over the course of the game, averaging 4.4 yards per carry. Peyton Lamoureux also added 35 yards on the ground, averaging 17.5 yards per carry.
Erik Palmquist reeled in nine catches for 67 yards.
Chase Doty led the Minot State defensive effort, recording three tackles, 1.0 TFL, and one sack. Lafayette Bade added 1.0 TFL and one sack in the loss.
