MINOT, N.D. – Minot State's new baseball coach Sam Boisner isn't settling just for players to join his team next season, he's adding talent who can step onto the diamond this coming spring.
Coach Boisner is pleased to announce the addition of two mid-year transfers who have signed to play for the Beavers in first baseman Kaleb Breeze, who is originally from West Valley City, Utah, and infielder and catcher Cameron Carr, who is originally from Roseville, California.
Breeze will be a sophomore on the field and in the classroom starting in January, and Carr will be a junior.
A 6-foot-4, 225-pound first baseman, Breeze hit .263 with seven doubles, four home runs, and 28 RBIs in 35 games as a freshman last season at Miles Community College (Mont.).
Breeze comes from Granger High School in West Valley City, Utah.
As for Carr, a 5-10, 185-pound utility player, he played two seasons at Sierra College and saw action in 21 games, hitting .370 with 3 home runs and 18 RBIs.
Carr comes from Woodcreek High School in Roseville, California.
