BOLIVAR, Mo. –
Jaci Jones led the way Monday as the Minot State women's golf team returned to action at the Midwest Intercollegiate hosted by Drury (Mo.).
Jones shot a 13-over 85 at the Silo Ridge Country Club, putting her 10 strokes off the lead and in a tie for 36
th after the first round of the event.
She led a Minot State squad that carded a team total of 64-over 352 and is tied with Southern Nazarene for 14
th in the team standings.
Anya Ross was next for the Beavers on the first day as she shot a 16-over 88 and is tied for 54
th, then came
Taylor Cormier who is tied for 63rd after a 17-over 89 on Monday.
Kaitlynn Criswell carded an 18-over 90 and is tied for 67
th, and
Holly Knudsen shot a 23-over 95 and is tied for 84th after the first day.
Central Oklahoma leads the team title chase with after a 24-over 312 on Monday while Central Missouri's Claire Solovic and Nicole Rallo each share the first-round individual lead after each shot 3-over 75s on Monday.
The tournament concludes with a final round on Tuesday at Silo Ridge Country Club.
