The Minot State women's golf team began the NSIC Championship on Friday, Apr. 22 at Paradise Point Golf Complex in Smithville, MO.

Holly Knudsen is the leading scorer for the Beavers shooting 85 for the day, good enough for a tie for 21st place.
Taylor Cormier finished day one of the NSIC Championship tied for 27th shooting 87 for the day.
The Vikings of Augustana University lead the tournament as a team shooting 306 as a team. Shannon McCormick is the tournament leader shooting 73, three strokes better than Abbey Kurmel in 2nd place.
