CROOKSTON, Minn. - The Minot State volleyball team lost 25-21, 19-25, 20-25, 25-23, 15-13 to the Minnesota Crookston Golden Eagles on Friday on the road at Lysaker Gymnasium.
The loss dropped Minot State's record to 0-10 overall and 0-3 in NSIC action.
The Beavers were led by a double-double from Alexandra Koontz, who registered 11 kills and 19 digs on the day. Kylie Koontz also added a career-high 17 kills to help the offense. On the defensive end, Viktoria Sedova chipped in with 16 digs to go with six blocks from Taylor Wyatt.

"Minnesota Crookston was the better team tonight," Minot State coach Alex Lehocky said. "There were some very good things coming from us, but ultimately Crookston was able to finish the match."
