BEMIDJI, Minn. - The Battle of the Beavers went to host Bemidji State on Saturday.
The Minot State volleyball team could not slow down a potent Bemidji State Beavers offense, falling on the road to Bemidji State in straight sets, 25-14, 25-14, 25-16 in NSIC action.
The loss dropped Minot State's record to 0-11 overall and 0-4 in NSIC play. Minot State, which has played 9 of its first 11 matches on the road, now returns home to host Winona State on Friday at 6 p.m., and Upper Iowa on Saturday at 2 p.m. at the MSU Dome.
Kylie Koontz, coming off a career-high 17 kills on Friday night, led the way once again as she finished with six kills on the day to lead the Beavers offense. Minot State also got nine digs from Viktoria Sedova to lead the team defensively.
